Bruce & Janet
This was my very first wedding I ever captured and it could not have been for a more laid-back couple. Bruce & Janet were just amazing. They had reached out wanting a newer photographer for their wedding and liked my work and convinced me to become their wedding photographer. Their sweet, fun, and relaxed personalities totally sold me and made me excited to work with them.
Since it was the second wedding for both of them, they both were so relaxed on their wedding day and just wanted to have fun. The day started with getting ready at their house and of course, champagne. The girls from their blended family got ready together - laughing, bonding, and helping each other with their makeup.
Finally, the sprinter van loaded up and we were off to get Bruce & Janet hitched! Their wedding was in the beautiful Landfall Chapel and it was packed! So many people came out to support this sweet couple. After saying their "I do's", we took a bunch of large family photos and then headed off to a property off Summer Rest Road for immediate family photos and bridal portraits. Fun fact: the property was actually the same place I got married in 2013!! It was so nice to see the owners again! From there, Bruce and Janet hopped into their friend's little tiki boat and cruised on over to Bluewater to celebrate.
The party started with their first dance which one guest was so overcome with emotion by that he had to run up and give them a hug. There was barely a dry eye in the room. The night ended with a ton of dancing, cake, cocktails and a beautiful sparkler exit. I couldn't have had a better couple to shoot my first wedding with!
